Morenci Schools Artwork Contest April 1 - 10th
We are so excited that Rock Yo Taco will be serving the Morenci Schools students and staff in the middle and high schools on both Thurs April 16 and Fri April 17th, 2026 that we are announcing our first ever “Rock Yo Taco Student Artwork Contest!!”
Rock Yo Taco isn’t just a food truck, it’s a our brand of “Twisted Tex-Mex that Is Authentically Ours” that we are very PROUD OF. From day #1 we wanted a cool logo and mascot that made us stand apart and be noticed from a very far distance. Our mascot is “Rocko the Taco”, and he’s an expert in 2 things – tacos and rock and roll music! He’s not just a cartoon character – he embodies everything we like, food and music!
YOU (Morenci Schoools student body) are going to help us create the artwork for Rock’s new sibling “Rollo the Burrito”!! You want to do something that hits different – enter today!
BACKGROUND: This is how it all started. Christy Grondin sent us an image of the student artwork above celebrating our anticipated arrival at Morenci Schools mid-April. We thought it was sooooo cool with the hand drawn logo and Rocko the Taco, but something caught our eye. That little burrito in the bottom left corner with his sunglasses, tongue out, and hands raised. We highlighted this detail in the red box. We thought – he looks like Rocko’s brother!! Tracy quickly named him “Rollo the Burrito” HOW PERFECT!! This artwork contest is for YOU the students of MORENCI SCHOOLS to submit your own hand drawn rendition of our brand new “Rollo the Burrito” mascot!!
RULES:
1. NO AI can be used (only hand drawn artwork will be accepted)
2. Submissions must be your own original artwork
3. All entries must be submitted using the form below
4. You must be a middle or high school student at Morenci Schools to enter
5. Upon submission you agree that we can use, manipulate, and or update your original artwork royalty free in social media, promotions, and advertisements moving forward
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Create a burrito mascot for Rock Yo Taco with the following deails:
– a standing burrito character with both arms raised showing the “rock symbol” hands
– he’s wearing sunglasses or glasses similar to Rocko’s
– he has his tongue out like Rocko and he has similar legs
DID WE MENTION THERE ARE PRIZES?!?
We will accept artwork submissions from the form below from Wed April 1st – Fri April 10th. Then during that weekend we will let our Facebook followers VOTE on the winner(s). Yes we said winners! There will be ONE winner from the middle school entries and ONE winner from the high school entries.
